Half-day Tour to Kom-Ombo and Edfu Temples from Aswan to Luxor

Explore the temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo with your Egyptologist guide on a private tour from Aswan. Discover the shrines dedicated to the evil god, crocodile Sobek, and the good god, the falcon Horus! We arrange daily guided tours to Kom Ombo Temple and Edfu Temple (you can choose whether to continue to Luxor or return to Aswan). Your guide will meet you at your hotel to join you on your tour. First, you will visit the temple of Kom Ombo, located 45 km north of Aswan. The temple dates back to the Greco-Roman period. It is dedicated to the gods worshipped during the Pharaonic period: the crocodile Sobek, representing the evil god, and the falcon Horus, representing the good god. There you will also see a fascinating museum displaying modified crocodiles.

You will then continue to the temple of Edfu, located 65 km north of Kom Ombo. This temple is Egypt's most complete, preserved, and the second largest after the Karnak temple in Luxor. It belongs to the Greek era and is dedicated to the falcon god Horus. At the end of your visit to the Second Temple, you will have the choice to continue to your hotel in Luxor on the east side of the city - 110 km, or go back to your hotel in Aswan - 106 km.
