Saint Simon Monastery and Nobles Tombs Tour with Camel Ride in Aswan, Egypt
If you want to discover the jewels of the west bank of Aswan and have fun crossing the desert on a camel, this tour is for you! Relish the scenery and explore the ruins of St. Simeon Monastery near the city of Aswan, a 7th-century church built by a hermit monk. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel to join you on a private motorboat to cross the Nile to the west bank, where you will enjoy a camel ride. You will start at the Christian monastery called Saint Simon, which has one of the oldest monastic communities in the world. You will visit different parts of the church, the cells, and the mill. Next, you'll ride a camel from here on to Nobles Tombs, where you will visit 3 beautiful tombs dating back to the Pharaonic periods.
