Departing from Negombo or Colombo, you will drive for 2 hours to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. It is located northwest of Kegalle and was established in 1975 by the Department of Wildlife Conservation. There, orphaned or injured elephants live in their natural habitat and are being looked after. You will have a chance to see members of staff feeding elephant calves and elephants bathing in a river.

One day tour to Yala Wildlife Safari where the visitors get the chance to visit the Yala Forest in Safari Jeep. The overall visit to the forests is around 5-10 km covering every area of Yala Forest.
