Lima: Walking Tour to Caral Ancient City

We start in the morning from Lima toward the Supe Valley. At the ancient archeological site of Caral, we’ll explore one of Peru’s most important ruins packed with a long and fascinating history. With the guide's assistance explore the temples, plazas, and recent discoveries of Caral. Caral was developed along with the ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt civilizations about 5 000 years ago. Although the ruins were discovered in 1948, recent excavations of Caral have revealed an elaborate complex of temples, sunken plazas, and some of the largest terraced pyramids in the world.
