A prosperous port city in the past, it was rebuilt 3 times due to natural disasters. Priene had the central shrine of the Ionian League and a great spiritual and religious importance. Today, it features many beautiful examples of Hellenic art, as well as Bouleuterion, the Theater and the Temple of Athena that are the most important ruins to be seen there. Another remarkable location on the tour will be Miletus, the home of several famous philosophers. Once the biggest city in Anatolia, it features the ruins of the Theater and Faustina Baths. Also, the symbol of the Olympic games had originated from the lighthouse of the harbor of Miletus. You will visit Didyma, which is famous for the Temple of Apollo, one of the biggest temples in the Hellenic world, and Medusa Head. Didyma used to be the residence of ancient oracles and the cult center of Miletus. There, you will have lunch at a local restaurant.
