Douro Valley Private Wine Tour with 2 Wineries and River Cruise

The unique tour of the Douro Valley would be offered exclusively to you and your group. You will travel in the company of an experienced local guide and discover the richness and true essence of the region. Upon visiting two wineries, you will learn about the production of different types of wine, tasting Port and Douro DOC wines. You will try the traditional cuisine during a Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant in the village of Pinhão. There, you will also visit the old Pinhão Railway Station and see the magnificent walls of handcrafted tiles that portray the beauty of the region. Afterwards, you will set on a 1-hour panoramic cruise on the Douro river aboard the rabelo, a traditional Portuguese wooden cargo boat. Native to the Douro region, such vessels cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
