The Douro Valley, World heritage and one of the oldest wine producing regions in the world, has unique landscapes and delicious treats ready to amaze you. This region is home of the famous Douro Wine, specifically the Port wine. As soon as we arrive, we will sample the amazing treats that the valley has to offer: almonds, its traditional bread and its delicious honey, all paired with Douro's red, white and rosé wines.
Then, we will head to the Pinhão train station, where you can see the history of Douro's wine industry in typical blue and white Portuguese tiles. You can also go for an optional boat ride.
After, we will visit a family-owned winery with access to an exclusive lunch menu with all included and paired with white, red and port wines. After lunch, you will have a port wine tasting in which you will sample several different years. Before arriving in Porto, we will visit Amarante for a final tasting of its treats.
