Seville is the capital of Andalusia, the 4th most populous city in Spain and a city of great world historical importance. This city at one time was the capital of the Moorish kingdom and the gold from the New World arrived here, the famous Velázquez was born here, flamenco is supposed to appear here. Spanish Sephardim Jews, who fell into the punishing claws of the Inquisition, lived here.
