Don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy a hike through the beautiful Andes with breathtaking canyon views, and learn more about this Sacred Inca Temple and its ancestors from our guide.

Early in the morning drive from your hotel in Cusco to the start of our journey towards Pitumarca. After a casual breakfast, we will continue driving for 30 more minutes until we reach the beautiful Qenterococha lagoon. Here our adventure begins as it is the starting point of our hike to Waqrapukara. The first part of the hike is walking through a flat road for about two hours. On your way you will witness the stunning Andean landscape and precious lagoons until we reach the first lookout. From there we will start our descent for about 30 minutes and finally get to Waqrapukara archaeological site. After that you will be taken back to your hotel.

Comfortable clothes and hiking shoes, rain protection and some cash is recommended.
