In our tour of Moscow we will talk about women: tsarevnas, princesses, empresses and members of the dynastic family. And Moscow with its architectural appearance will tell us about amazing and different destinies: ups and downs, love and tragedies, jubilation and tears.
Let's begin the story with the eldest daughter of Mikhail Fedorovich Romanov Irina Mikhailovna. Tsarevna is a great fortune or a sentence for life? How did the tsarevnas live in the XVII century, with whom they socialized, where they traveled, how they were wooed. Then let's remember the first tsarevna who broke all frames and prejudices concerning women, tsarevna Sophia, the one who came to power and ruled on an equal footing with men.
How to be a serf on the royal throne? And this has happened in our history. A woman thanks to her personal qualities and love for her husband made a dizzying career, becoming the first Russian empress. And we know her as Catherine the Great. Another Catherine, the German princess who conquered Russia, contributed much to the architectural appearance of the capital. We know the legacy of her reign to this day.
And of course, we will remember the bright and extraordinary Empress Elizabeth Petrovna with her eternally festive life. And then we will talk about another Elizabeth, the Prussian princess, the first beauty of St. Petersburg and Moscow, who took the path of mercy, help to the poor and forgiveness.
Together with our heroines we will visit the "golden age" of Russian history and pass the historical path of the Romanovs in Russia from the first tsar to the execution of the members of the royal family in 1918; from a woman who did not tie her fate with a non-Orthodox man to a canonized Russian saint.
