Overnight Safari at Aquila Game Reserve in Touws River, South Africa

Spend the night at Aquila Game Reserve and enjoy four different experiences inside this beautiful reserve: Big 5 game drive, Eco Synergy Systems tour, Star gazing safari, early morning safari.

The Standard Lodge Rooms offer a comfortable and basic overnight stay with en suite shower. These rooms are designed for easy going travelers on a budget and has no view of the reserve.Standard Lodge Rooms have twin beds, which can be made up to queen size beds. The lodge accommodation is conveniently located next to the restaurant and mezzanine bar, with access by stairs and lift. The lodge accommodation also has parking for ease of access.

Eco Synergy Systems tour focuses on sustainable tourism. Learn more about how we recycle using Aquaponics, Hydroponics, andorganic gardening. At the Eco Synergy Center, you will also be introduced to a miracle plant called “Spekboom”. It is able to fight climatic change and improves the quality of breathable air. It is known to have the capacity of taking in about 4 to 10 tonnes of carbon from a hectare's environment. This it does by acting like a carbon sponge that sucks in all the unwanted carbon. Each bedroom at Aquila has a small Spekboom plant. Star Safari: Each evening (weather conditions permitting) after dinner, we invite you to join us at the Boma for marshmallow roasting and toview the stellar sights of the Karoo skies!

Day 1. Welcome drink on arrival.

12:30AM to 2:30PM.Lunch is served.

2PM.Room Check.

2:30PM or 3:30PM. Tour of the Eco Synergy Systems (departure time is dependent on seasons).

Game drive (Departing 3:30PM to 4:15PM dependent on seasons) duration 2 hours.

7PM - 10PM. Dinner is served.

10PM. Star safari (weather dependent) once sun has set.

Accommodation is at Standard Lodge Room.

Day two:

6AM-7AM. 1 1⁄2 hour early morning safari.

8AM. Full English Breakfast is served.

10AM. Check out.

Cancellation policy:100% cancellation fee will be charged if booking is cancelled 7 days or less prior to the event or in case of no-show. 50% cancellation fee will be charged if booking is cancelled 8-21 days prior to the event. 30% cancellation fee will be charged if booking is cancelled 22-30 days prior to the event.
