Boat Tour of Ballestas Islands

You’ll depart from El Chaco Tourist Dock onboard a speed boat alongside the Paracas bay observing the local’s boats fishing the traditional way. Start with admiring the famous Candelabro geoglyph, continue on to the Ballestas Islands, being greeted by the sea lions, which are definitely the highlight of the tour, sheltering in many caves of these protected Islands. You will also have the opportunity to witness some of more than 150 species of marine birds, including the Humboldt penguin, cormorants, boobies, and pelicans.

On your deeper approach to the islands, you’ll get spectacular views of the animals on the shores, seagulls flying overhead, and those swimming beneath the ocean. Be on the lookout for the dolphins and even whales during the boat ride.
