In Sighnaghi, you'll enjoy stunning views of the great mountains of the Caucasus and the Alazani River Valley. It is a fortress city with remnants of 18th-century fortifications. You can climb the watchtowers for a magnificent view. Then visit Bodbe Monastery, one of Georgia's most important religious sites. Today there is a convent on the site and the Cathedral of St. George, part of the monastery where the remains of St. Nino rest.
