Kotor Bay Boat Trip Including Mussels and Wine Taste

Our main destination will be the Blue Cave, one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Bay of Boka Kotorska. Our journey to the Blue Cave will be very interesting as well. During the speedboat ride, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view of Perast, Our Lady of the Rocks, Tivat, Porto Montenegro and Herceg Novi. We will make a brief stop so that you can see the entrances to the abandoned submarine tunnels, which were built by the Yugoslav Army. There are three submarine bases in the Bay of Kotor, and another 17 in the former Yugoslavia.

Furthermore, you will enjoy the panoramic view of Mamula, a small island with a fortress, which was once a concentration camp in World War II, situated at the entrance of the Bay of Boka Kotorska. Our skipper will give you the information about the history of this island. We will not go there because of ongoing renovation works.

After that, we will proceed to the Blue Cave where you can enjoy swimming and diving. 

This place, accessible only by boat, is renowned for its crystal-clear water, the cave that envelops its blue waters, and the serenity of its natural setting.

On our way back to Kotor, we will visit two places. First, we will go to the islet called Our Lady of the Rocks, the most visited place in the bay of Kotor.

The Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Rocks is the largest building on the islet; it has a museum attached. There is also a small gift shop close to the church and navigation light at the western end of the islet.

After a visit to a magnificent Our Lady of the Rocks church/island, our main stop will be a private little mussel’s farm on the south facing end of the Kotor bay, where you will have the opportunity to learn about mussel harvest, see how they get cleaned and learn how to cook them, the Montenegrin way.

 Local red or white wine, along with your fresh meal, will make this unique lunch experience one you will fondly remember for years to come
