Visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon and Valley of the Queens. Discover the history of Egypt and visit the West Bank of Luxor. The Valley of the Queens locates southwest of the village and temples of Medinet Habu and about 500 meters in the west of Deir el-Medina, the valley served as a necropolis for the tombs of royal family members, with about 90 numbered tombs belonging to Queens, princes, and high officials of the New Kingdom (1550-1070 BC).
