South Corfu Bike Tour

This is an amazing tour showing you the best that the south of Corfu has to offer. We begin our tour in Moraitika and cycle to Gardiki Castle, built in the 13th Century and the only remaining Byzantine fortress in the South of Corfu. Our tour continues to a local wine cellar and then we head west to Lake Korission. This is the largest lagoon in Corfu and is home to more than 120 species of birds. At Chalikounas Beach, possibly the largest beach on the island, we will stop for a swim in readiness for our ride up to the traditional villages of Argyrades and Neohoraki, where life continues at its original slow pace. Riding from the west to the east of the island, an easy downhill ride brings us to Petriti, a small fishing village. Our route takes us along the coast to Boukari, our next stop. Here you can eat some freshly caught fish or seafood and have a quick swim. The final part of the ride is easy and continues along the coastal road through the small settlement of Psara, the village of Messonghi and back to Moraitika.

Departure: daily. Includes: a guide, mountain bike, full equipment (helmet, lock, safety vest, etc.), bottle of water, fizzy drink or coffee, free sunbeds at Chalikounas beach.
