Kayaking is open to everyone and requires no previous experience other than a passion for exploring the open waters.

Arrábida Natural Park, stretching from Setubal to the fishing village of Sesimbra, impresses with its picturesque views, a rare combination of landscape colors, dominated by the blue of the ocean, the whitish tones of the limestone cliffs and the bright emerald of the dense vegetation of the mountain slopes.

The beauty of nature is the main wealth of the Park. Arrábida is one of the few places in Portugal where the typical Mediterranean thickets of maquis have been preserved in their entirety. Given the uniqueness of this landscape, it was decided to give the Serra da Arrábida the status of a specially protected natural area and consider it a global scientific relic. Therefore, some parts of the Park are open to the public only when accompanied by a guide appointed by the administration. In addition, firms accredited by the administration of the Park organize classes in such types of extreme tourism as speleology, scuba diving, and rock climbing.
