You will begin your private tour with a driver-guide from Yerevan and visit the massive letters of the Armenian alphabet. The Armenian alphabet monument is located in Artashavan, at the eastern foot of Mount Aragats. It was built in 2005 to commemorate the 1600th anniversary of the creation of the Armenian alphabet. The monument is an intriguing display of 39 Armenian letters carved in stone. The Armenian alphabet has been used to record the Armenian language since 405 or 406, and it is still used to represent the Armenian language in written form today. Mesrop Mashtots, an Armenian linguist and church leader, created it to make the Bible more accessible to Armenians and to spread Christianity. Your guide will assist you in locating and photographing the letters of your name.

Following that, you will visit one of Saghmosavank's unique monasteries on the edge of the picturesque Kasag River Gorge. The gorge is flooded with light and striking in its transparency. Founded between 1215 and 1235, the monastery, which had an impressive library, served as Armenia's scientific and religious center for a long time. After the tour, you will be driven back to Yerevan.
