The Museum of Modern Art – or MAM, as locals like to call it – is an architecture landmark. It is a project conceived by Roberto Burle Marx and made by architect Affonso Eduardo Reidy. With more than 15 thousand works of art, its collection is composed by sculptures and paintings made by international renowned artists, and a large number of important Latin American artists.
