You will be picked up from your hotel in a classic car or minivan, depending on the number of passengers. The trip to Pompeii will last about 2 hours; during the journey, you will have a 15-20 minute break for coffee or a sandwich in the restaurant. The road to Pompeii will give you views of the Vesuvius volcano, so prepare to meet this sleeping giant! In Pompeii, you will visit the ancient Roman city near modern Naples. Pompeii, Herculaneum, and many surrounding villas were buried under 4-6 m (13-20 ft) of volcanic ash and pumice during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.

It's a popular tourist destination with pebble beaches and narrow, steep streets full of stores and cafes. You can walk, shop, and dine in one of the restaurants in the city.

Amalfi is known as a town in a unique natural setting beneath cliffs on the southwest coast of Italy. It was the seat of a powerful maritime republic from the ninth to the eleventh century. The Cathedral of Sant'Andrea is in the middle of the city. It was built during the Arab-Norman period, and its striped Byzantine facade makes it stand out. The Arsenale Museum in Amalfi is a medieval building site now an exhibition space. The trip from Positano to Amalfi takes about 45 minutes, during which you can admire the beautiful panorama of the Amalfi Coast. Upon arrival in Amalfi, you will have free time without a guide for a walk of about 40 minutes. You can sample one of the best ice creams in the South or limoncello, a traditional Amalfi Coast drink. At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to your point of departure.
