Make the most of your experience in Portugal! Enjoy the fabulous Tagus Estuary Natural Reserve, where many resident or migratory species can be found: fabulous flamingos, glossy ibis, spoonbills, oystercatchers, or ospreys! Get to know the secrets of the Tagus Estuary as close as possible to wildlife. The best time to observe birds is from September to May, when some species arrive and others leave. Our professional ornithologist will give you more information on the migration phenomena in this significant wetland in the Iberian Peninsula. Wildlife can be seen so close to Lisbon — be sure to witness its true beauty!

Departure: daily. Includes: a certified guide, boat ride, fees and fuel, insurance, life jacket, binoculars, ornithologist. Not included: hotel pick up and drop off, food and drinks. Minimum 4 people. 

Please note: Bring suitable clothes (we suggest a warm jacket) and comfortable shoes. Consider using sunglasses and always wear sunscreen (as the sun reflects off the water, you can quickly get sunburned). Our visit depends on tides (mudflats can stay exposed), so we always select the best time for departure. Be sure to take your camera or binoculars! Check in 15 minutes in advance.
