Start with meeting your guide to drive through the countryside of Cusco which is filled with majestic peaks and contrasting corn and barley fields. The first stop is at the town of Chinchero, where you’ll enjoy a demonstration of weaving techniques held by their local women. Then you will see the town of Ollantaytambo, the only living Inca town that has inspired a romance novel. After a buffet lunch by the countryside, visit the village of Pisaq, known for its open-air markets where the locals sell their woven alpaca wool blankets, ponchos, engraved gourds, antique reproductions and jewelry.
