Please note: the length of the trip and the time it leaves depend on how the guest interacts with the ranger and how many animals they see. The private game reserve is about 2.5 hours from Cape Town. It is in the malaria-free Ceres Karoo. Don’t hesitate to submit a transfer request to us.

Children's policy: please remember that children under four are not authorized on game drives. Private safaris can be booked ahead of time so that children under the age of four can go on a wildlife drive with their parents while being closely watched. There will be limited Inverdoorn housing available for small family stays. Please confirm with your safari adviser for any family needs when booking. Subject to hotel availability, one kid between the ages of 4 and 12 may share with two adults at half the adult cost.

Since Inverdoorn is a small lodge, all children must always be under the direct care of their parents. As a parent, guardian, or chaperone, you are personally and legally responsible for and must always watch over children. Please do not leave children unaccompanied in guest rooms or allow them to roam the hotel grounds unsupervised.

The five-star Ambassador Suite, located on the outskirts of the safari lodge with unobstructed views of the Karoo, offers visitors the pinnacle of luxury and elegance. The suite is a self-contained property with its rooftop patio and direct access to the Ambassador private pool and dining-boma area, where breakfast and lunch are provided throughout the South African summer months.

The suite has a sitting area with a fully equipped bar, a sleeper couch for additional guests or youngsters, and air-conditioning to keep the summer heat away in the Karoo. The bathroom has a double vanity, a rain shower, and a big bath to soak away your concerns, separated by an attractive screen door.

Guests at this property have their ranger for their stay, and private 4x4 wildlife drives can be used for safaris. The Ambassador Suite provides utmost seclusion, with a secluded patio and private rooftop terrace outfitted with loungers and umbrellas, ideal for sundowners and sunbathing.
