Our specialty activities are ski touring day trips in Levi, Pallas and Ylläs backcountry area. Skiing off-piste is relatively easy and safe in Lapland. The fells here are not too high and steep. This is a great way to get a full-on adventure day in the wilderness with a bit of adrenaline rush.

Please note: skiing equipment is offered for €70 extra/day if you need to rent it. Tiered pricing: 2 people will be charged €150/person; 3–5 people will be charged €120/person; 6–7 people will be charged €100/person.

What do I need to bring?

Snacks and warm drink, warm winter clothing and a small backpack.

Basic alpine skiing or snowboarding skills are needed for this excursion. We will meet at the ski rental shop in the morning. We rent the ski touring and snow safety gear for the group.

The guide decides the skiing location based on the weather and snow conditions. The guide will give you an introduction to ski touring and snow safety equipment at the start. Then we start skiing up to the fell. We will continue the skiing day as long as the group has energy and motivation to do so, or as long as there is daylight.

Take your own snacks and drinks with you. Notice that we probably can not make a campfire during the day.
