The Donskoy Monastery and its necropolis

The Moscow Donskoy Monastery has a special spirit - measured, quiet, thoughtful, awe-inspiring in front of its ancient history.

The calm of the noble necropolis disposes the soul to reflect on eternity. The Don Monastery does not need to emphasize its special status - it is a patriarchal monastery. The relics of St. Tikhon, the martyred patriarch of All Russia, rest here.

Please note: Donation to the monastery for the excursion on its territory is 150. The Donskoy monastery is a male monastery, therefore it is impossible to enter the territory of the monastery in shorts and in too open clothes. For ladies to enter the cathedrals of the monastery it is desirable to wear a shawl.

During the tour we will walk around the monastery and the quiet necropolis of the monastery.

As part of the tour of the monastery you will learn:
