Please note: Child rate (3-11) applies only if there are 2 paying adults. If you are the only person in a shared group, you will be able to cancel your tour or to do it alone by paying an additional fee of 50% of the price. The shared tour includes entrance to the Zone 1 (green zone) of Golubac Fortress which is suitable for all ages and physical conditions. If you wish to access to the three remaining zones, you should book a private tour; these zones require a very good physical conditions and are not suitable for people suffering from acrophobia or ophidiophobia (fear of snakes); these zones also require appropriate clothing and footwear (tracksuit, trousers, capris, trainers, hiking shoes). Not wheelchair accessible.
You'll visit the medieval Ram Fortress and admire its five towers with 36 cannon openings. You'll then proceed towards Golubac Fortress, located near the Đerdap Gorge and considered one of the most suggestive castles.
You'll then enjoy a short break at "Pruna" distillery and winery, where you will be able to taste some Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon or a plum or apple brandy. Finally, you'll proceed towards Smederevo Fortress, which was built in the 15th century. You'll admire the Great Reception Hall, decorated with three Gothic and Romanesque double windows carved in stone called "biforas".
