Significant places of the city
At the beginning of the tour you will find yourself in the oldest market square in Wroclaw, to see what could be sold and bought here a few centuries ago. You will see the Town Hall and the rich houses next to it. In the Meat Market, imagine how the medieval middle class lived, and in one of the narrow streets, try to guess what other countries would call the Jas and Małgosy houses. In the oldest building in Wroclaw you will find a former torture chamber which now serves as a bar and on the first floor of the local administration building you will find the oldest beer house in the country: they have been serving beer for 700 years. We will tell you who ruled Wroclaw at different times and what happened to the city during the war, and we will help you get oriented in its 12 islands.
It's Eurocław-style!
You will see the University of Wrocław, where nine Nobel laureates studied together, and the local "Vatican", which means the main churches of the city on the island of Tumski with the cathedral of St. John the Baptist in the vanguard. Make a wish on the Bridge of Wishes and you'll begin to understand the street food that Wroclawians line up for (and you'll be sure to take note!). In the authentic part of Wrocław, you'll find surviving medieval advertisements. When you take a closer look at the Church of St. Magdalene, imagine the events of the old legend about the Bridge of the Magdalene, which stretches between the towers at a height of 45 meters. Throughout the tour, children and everyone else will have a chance to "collect" the Wrocław dwarves that have been inhabiting the streets of Wrocław for many years.
