A walking tour is the best way to explore small Amsterdam. Our goal is to introduce you to the real spirit of the city, to captivate you with its modern life, to orient you to the area and to tell you the most interesting stories.

Highlights:

  • On the Red Route, walk through the western part of Amsterdam, where locals love to visit
  • See the Grand Canals, the 9th Street Quarter, the bohemian district of Jordaan, the Brewer's Canal and the Beguinage (Red Route)
  • On the Blue Route, see the City Wall Towers, the Chinatown, the Jewish Quarter, Amsterdam Harbor and the East India Company.
  • Visit Rembrandt Square and the Flower Market

Included:

  • Guide service

Important to know:

  • Tour reservations close 24 hours in advance.
  • There may be more than 15 people in the group, as no tickets are purchased for children.
  • The tour runs on two daily alternating routes. A map of the route and schedule can be found in the photo section.
  • The tour is completely pedestrian. There are comfortable stops along the way and you can take a photo break to get the best view of the sights.
  • At the end of the tour you will have a question and answer session: you can ask the guide any questions about Amsterdam, discuss the tour and exchange impressions.

In order for you to explore all the main sites of Amsterdam, we have two tour routes Red and Blue. They alternate each day and cover 90% of the city's major attractions:

  • The Red route runs through the western part of Amsterdam, a kind of "quiet center" where the locals like to go. There are many beautiful, unusual, and even hidden spots. You'll see the Grand Canals, the 9th Street Quarter, the bohemian Jordaan district, the Brewer's Canal, the Beguinage, places associated with Anne Frank, secret courtyards and the church. The walk ends in the heart of the city on the main Dam Square.
  • The blue route runs through the entire city and shows the multifaceted nature of Amsterdam. The towers of the city wall, the Chinese and Jewish quarters, Amsterdam Port, the East India Company, Rembrandt Square, the flower market and much more. The tour will end at one of the city's central squares, Spaw.

On each of the routes we make about 20 stops, where we introduce you to the famous and secret places of Amsterdam, their unusual history and manners. But our tours are not a history lesson, we do not "load" with an abundance of dates and names. Certainly, key data will not escape our attention, without it it is difficult to understand the history of Amsterdam. But our main task is to acquaint you with this beautiful city, to show the most interesting and important places, to orientate and help you plan your stay. At the same time, we will tell you what only locals know. This information is not printed in travel guides!

There is no risk of getting lost, missing something or not knowing about the city, because our two routes cover all aspects of the past and present. Our tour is a kind of guidebook that gives you a great orientation in the city. How not to get lost among a thousand beautiful canals, where best to buy souvenirs or eat, we will learn many unusual, paradoxical and interesting things. We will enjoy the history, culture, architecture, understand the local laws.

Rain, snow, wind, fog or sunshine is not an obstacle for us to carry out the tour. The main thing is your desire to get to know Amsterdam.
