You will learn the main things about the important architectural monuments: the St. Stanislav's Cathedral, the monument to the prince Gediminas, the Town Hall Square at the Starovilė market, and how the monument to Dr. Aibolit appeared in the city. We will tell you who studied at Vilnius University, what is remarkable about Stikla Street, we will show you the houses of Vilnius nobles and the only preserved gate in the city with a miracle-working icon. You will learn how to orientate yourself in Vilnius, and during the tour you will understand where else you would like to go.
Blue route: creative
There are interesting places scattered all over the city that are so easy to walk past if you don't guess they're there: the tile of happiness, curious signs on Literators Street, atmospheric courtyards and streets with a special past, the gothic gem of St. Anne's Church. We won't let you miss it all. We will go down to the level of the Middle Ages, we will talk about how Hannibal was baptized and how Fyodor Dostoevsky spent his honeymoon in our city. We will learn how the Uzupis art microdistrict lives by very special rules and where tattoo artists have replaced jewelers.
