The red route: the labyrinths and riddles of the Old City
This walk will take you to the inner city of Icheri-sheher and to the origins of Baku. You will walk along the narrow stone streets and peep into the yards to feel the local flavor of freshly baked lavash and kebab and here you will be so curious to observe the life of Baku citizens. Just 22 hectares of the Old Town has dozens of attractions: you will guess why they built the Maiden Tower, see the caravanserais, guest houses of the Middle Ages, and the palace of the rulers of ancient Shirvan. Visit Uncle Ali, the barefoot Baku painter, and find the street of "damn it" from "The Diamond Hand.

The Blue Route: Baku of the Oil Boom Era and Today
How did the city's history turn and how did Baku's image change when Azerbaijan began producing oil? On this walk you will immerse yourself in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and don't miss the modern sights.
