Begin your full-day pirate boat cruise to Ile Aux Cerfs with a complimentary hotel pick-up at your accommodation anywhere on the paradise Island. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding your comfortable vehicle, then set off to Trou D'eau Douce village. The pirate boat (36-foot) is of unique design, made as a replica of a real pirate boat with two masts and five sails of wooden brown varnished. Sailing on the pirate boat will take you back in time to the old days of the pirates. The Pirate ship departs at 09:30 from the jetty at Trou D'eau Douce, a small fishing village situated on the East Coast of Mauritius. You will board the pirate boat and will have a short pre-departure briefing by the boat captain about the day schedule, the cruise plan, and the safety measures

The Pirate boat will then cruise along the shore line heading towards the direction of the Grand River Waterfalls. Get your cameras ready when the captain will tell you that you are nearing the Grand River South East Waterfalls. The view will be magical, like a movie scene. Then, when reaching the Grand River, you will go by speed boat to visit the waterfalls which are found about 500m upstream. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see the curious monkeys jumping through the big old trees on the river banks. Watch the Mauritian fruit bats resting perched on the highest trees as you approach the waterfall. Following the visit to the waterfall, you will head back to the pirate boat

Following the GRSE Waterfall, the pirate boat will set sail for a cruise inside the lagoon along the East coast, seeing great views of the mountain range. You will visit the key areas of the reefs, where you can swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters. Discover a plethora of marine life including fish and coral, as you dive here. Snorkelers will have a lot to discover, where they can get a glimpse into the beauty of our underwater world. The Mauritian lagoon is home to some of the world's most breathtaking coral reefs & marine life ever to be seen- you will get to see the amazing marine life, full of hundreds of bright-colored fish.

You will head back to the Pirate Boat for lunch. You will enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch set on the beach or on the Pirate Boat. We served a 3-Course menu and this includes, vegetables & Rice or Pasta salads along with Grilled Garlic bread. For the Main Course, we served Grilled chicken, Sausages & Fresh fish. For dessert: Grilled banana. You’ll also be treated to a selection of locally unlimited drinks, including soft drinks, Juice, water, beer, wine & local rum. While you will be having lunch, the crew will entertain you in a very pirate-like show. After lunch, the Pirate boat will be heading to Ile aux Cerfs Island which is a beautiful island near the east coast of Mauritius. With its swaying casuarinas and palm trees and the pure white beaches framed by the vivid turquoise waters, this amazing paradise island is the perfect setting for a relaxing day of sun worship.

The pirate boat will cruise into the canal between the Isle aux Cerfs and the world-class sanctuary of Anahita before dropping you off on the famous white sand bank of Ile aux Cerfs. On Ile aux Cerfs Island you are sure to have some relaxation and fun on one of the picture-perfect postcard beaches or enjoy a swim and/or snorkel inside the lagoon. You can also take advantage of the wide range of facilities on the island and the various water sports activities found there (Undersea walk, Tube riding and parasailing. After doing your activities, you can take a stroll and absorb the pristine natural environment, sit back and relax on the white sandy beaches. With its luminous flora and fauna, uninhibited wind and sun, and myriad facilities to cater to your whims, Ile Aux Cerfs is the perfect getaway for anyone seeking an uncommonly comfortable escape.

After spending some time on Ile aux Cerfs, you will re-embark on the pirate boat and sail back to the jetty. Once on board tea and coffee is served as well as slices of cake, not to forget the open bar that remains open. The crew members will make sure to make your time more enjoyable, and they will be happy to tell you about local tales, and jokes, and play local Mauritian sega music which will lift the spirits of all the people on board. Also, there is a sound system to play various selections of Music All throughout the day from the moment you board the Pirate boat, you can enjoy the open bar service including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You are expected to arrive back to Trou D’Eau Douce at 16:00.
