We will go snowshoeing in the beautiful Pallas-Yllästunturi national park between the highest fells of west Lapland. We can feel the real peace of the magical arctic wild nature as we hike in the deep snow. The silence of the white, majestic fells is mesmerizing. Pallas is a must-see destination in Lapland!

What do I need to bring?

Warm winter clothing and warm shoes.

Try snowshoeing with us in a small group with Finnish guide. Snowshoeing is about being able to walk in deep snow without sinking too deep - we can choose our own paths. Snowshoeing is like a hiking trip in snow. Walking with snowshoes is easy, and you don't need to learn any technique for this activity. This is a good activity for your whole family.

We can hike up the slopes for a great view if the weather permits. Going uphill is an excellent way to get safe exercise! You will get some fresh air as well: just a few kilometers from Pallas is the place where the cleanest air in Europe is measured.

After some snowshoeing, we will have a break in a hut, where we enjoy grilled sausages along with other snacks and drinks around a campfire. We can make a fresh outdoor style coffee from crystal clear spring water that flows just by the hut!

The program duration is 5 hours including 2-2,5 hours of snowshoeing and 1-hour lunch break and transportation by car. The ride from Levi takes 45 minutes, on the way you can watch the views as we drive through the forests of Pallas-Ylläs national park.
