Day 1. Your guide will pick you up from your place, the pick-up can be arranged also from the capital Yerevan and you will start your Armenian adventures. This 2-day horseback riding tour combines 3 popular horse trips into one spectacular package: trail ride through picturesque agricultural lands, along forest streams and stroll through the rolling meadows by sharing the beauty and diversity of mountains, steeped in Armenian history and culture.
You will trot or canter along the foothills of the ridge where a scenic journey will continue with a climb high to the mountains, promising panoramic views of the surrounding wooded slopes and valleys.
After mountain food gourmet delights with a couple of shots of homemade vodka, you will have a great conversation with locals still working with their cattle. Your 4-5 hour daily rides are full of expectations to hear the song of native birds to get delighted by spectacular scenery, a variety of bird species as well as discovering a combination of temperate and alpine flora.
You will dine under the stars next to a bonfire and sleep in a comfortable tent.
