Private Wine Tour: Évora and Alentejo in Lisbon, Portugal

Start the day in Lisbon heading southeast towards the Alentejo. We will pass Évora and head straight to Reguengos de Monsaraz where we will visit the famous Esporao wine cellars in an area that has been producing wine since the Bronze Age. After visiting the facilities, we will end with a wine tasting. After that, we return to Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we stop for lunch and take a walking tour that takes us into the heart of this ancient walled city. After the tour, we will leave the city and visit the Fundação Eugénio de Almeida, home of the world famous Cartuxa and Pera Manca wines, where after a tour of their old cellars we will rest and taste the wines. before returning to Lisbon.

In Alentejo, the power of the earth leaves its mark on time, and cities such as Elvas (Elvas) and Évora (World Heritage of Humanity) clearly demonstrate the perseverance and hard work of the locals.
