You will fly over the Areni region, which is the famous wine region of the country, meaning you will see the vineyards from the sky. Also, it is the very region where the 6100-year-old winery and the 5500-year-old leather shoe were found.

Next, you will admire the 13th century Noravank monastery, famous mainly for its unique surroundings (you will find out why) and of course for the unique architecture. The monastery is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.

The last stop will be the legendary Tatev monastery, which holds the world's longest non-stop double track cable car, listed in the Guinness World Records book. Here you will have a 2-hour stop and will be given free time to visit the monastery, take the cable car if you wish or simply have lunch in one of the typical local restaurants.
