Itinerary:
Day 1: Dar es salaam to Mikumi
Depart at 07:30 AM to Mikumi by 4x4.
Arrival in the Park after 4 hours depending on the traffic on the highway, lunch at Morongoro Town then drive into Mikumi National Park. Game drive till late in the evening dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mikumi - Dar es salaam
After early breakfast, sunrise game drive in Mikumi National Park. Then with picnic lunch game drive till afternoon then drive back to Dar es Salaam.

It is situated less than 300 kilometres from Dar es Salaam, which makes it a very popular park due to its accessibility. The Mikumi flood plain dominates the park, where lion is commonly seen as are packs of wild dog, a rarity elsewhere in Africa.
Leopard, Giraffe, elephant, zebra, buffalo, wildebeest, eland, crocodiles, monitor lizard and python are some of the many inhabitants of Mikumi.
