Dive into a day excursion to the Mediterranean's hidden pearl for an experience that will stay with you forever! You will be driven to the board from the hotel you are staying at in Sorrento (located in the middle of the city). During this cruise, you will get the opportunity to explore the stunning caves and caverns that Capri has to offer, see the famous Faraglioni rocks and stop for swimming and snorkeling You will sail around the gorgeous coast of Sorrento as you take in the island's breathtaking beauty, including the towering cliffs that may reach up to one hundred meters in height and contrast with the brilliant blue sea that changes its hue like a chameleon from one meter to the next. The captain will determine whether or not there will be stops for swimming at their discretion.
Following your swim in the clear water, you will make your way to the island to make the most of your free time there. While you are there, you can take in the sights of the island, such as Villa San Michele and the Gardens of Augustus, or you can unwind in one of the many cafes that line Capri's small square. Explore the displays at the Gardens of Augustus, and remember to take some time to smell the roses and other flowers! Taking in the splendor of nature, predominantly plants and trees can do wonders for one's state of mind. The Villa San Michele offers the most desirable location in Port Douglas, right in the middle of everything on the lively Macrossan Street. This national monument was built in the 15th century and is in and of itself a work of art. Its apartments have frescoes and old sculptures, and its traditional Italian gardens are an excellent place for guests to hide away.
You will have 4 hours total to enjoy your spare time. At the end of the excursion, you will be returned to Sorrento and dropped off at your hotel/meeting location.
