Barcelona Food Walking Tour, Spain

Discover Spanish food and Barcelona's history! As we wander through the narrow streets and historic squares, we will learn about Barcelona from Roman times to the medieval golden age. With three stops in different restaurants, we will also show you a wide variety of tapas! After meeting in the Roman heart of the city, it's time to work up an appetite. We'll start our historical walk through the oldest part of Barcelona, the Gothic Quarter. Our first stop is the traditional pinchos bar: an appetizer connected with a cocktail stick to a slice of bread. Then we will pass through the medieval center: El Born. We will learn about the artisans and wealthy merchants of the time who left an impressive legacy in the form of their palaces and the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar. Our next tapas bar is known for its regionalism — all the produce comes from local fields and farms. We will sample a variety of high-quality tapas. After a stop for dessert, you will see the old town and taste the local cuisine.
