Hikes on Lion’s Head take about 45 minutes up at a fast pace, or 1 hour at a reasonable speed. The views are far better than any hike in our opinion because the Lion's Head Trail goes around to both the Atlantic Seaboard and City Center. These two views of Cape Town are seen from on top of Lion’s Head, as well as having the best Table Mountain View in all of Cape Town.
