As you will set foot on the Meir, Antwerp’s main shopping street, you will find numerous fashion boutiques in the beautiful architectural setting. At the Meir Palace, a Rococo mansion that used to be Napoleon’s palace, you will try artisanal coffee and handmade chocolate at one of the most famous chocolate shops in Belgium. After you will have a unique encounter with Peter Paul Rubens, visiting his house and learning about the history of his work and contribution to Flemish art, you will visit another historical treasure, the Cathedral. The Cathedral of Our Lady is the largest Gothic church in the Low Countries, and you will get the chance to admire its north tower and contemplate an art collection that includes four masterpieces of Rubens. Also, you will see the Baroque pulpit with a wooden sculpture of Pocahontas and impressive stained glasses.
