Advanced Sea Kayaking to Kekova Island. Private Tour in Kaş, Türkiye
What a great way to challenge yourself, as you will set off kayaking to Kekova, a small Turkish island, in the company of a professional guide and other enthusiasts like yourself. First, the group will paddle towards Kekova and visit Dolchiste. The site features partly sunken ruins of an ancient town which was destroyed by an earthquake during the 2nd century. You will reach a tiny bay and make the first stop for a swim. Then, you will continue eastward to the Pirate Cave that can be only accessed by water. According to local stories, the cave was used by pirates as a hide-out in the old days and might have treasures that are still waiting to be found. You will head to your next swimming location, Gökkaya Bay, surrounded by rugged hills and dazzling aquamarine sea, and then get to Simena Castle. Located on top of a small hill right by the water, the castle remains largely intact and overlooks the Gökkaya bay. Villagers have settled on one side of the ancient site, and you will have lunch at one of the local restaurants in a small harbor that offer daily seafood catches.
