8 Days in Socotra Island in Hadhramaut Governorate, Yemen

Socotra paradise of nature, it's time to explore!

This remote island has plants that can only be found there. Socotra is a remarkable place for hiking, camping, and discovering wildlife. 

Day 01-Arrival at Socotra-Dihamri Marine Protected Area: you will be welcomed by your local Socotri guide, help you to check-in in your hotel. Then you could go to the beach to scuba diving, snorkeling ( extra cost). Then we will drive to Dihamri marine protected area, you will be intrduced to the local fishermen and join them for a sea trip! Then you will have dinner where you will spend the night. 

Day 02: Kelesehan Canyon: Early morning after breakfast, you will explore the Kelesehan canyon, which is famous for its amazing natural swimming pool and cascade, and rest for lunch. Then we will drive to discover a natural phenomenon surrounded by giant dunes at Arher. We will have dinner and stay the night in Arher.

Day 03- Arher Area: Adventures tour to the Deep cave Hoq cave and the mystical white dunes. we will have lunch and drive back to Arher beach and visit Ras Erisal the point where the Arabian Sea meets the Indian Ocean. Dinner and overnight by the Arher beach. 

Day 04- Homhil Natural Garden: Here you will see rare plants such as bottle trees cucumber, frankincense trees, and Dragon's blood trees which can only be found in Socotra. This area is also famous for its natural botanical garden the natural crystal-clear swimming pool. After lunch, we will drive to Qalansyia which has spectacular landscapes, sea creatures. At Alalmah village, we will stop for rest and enjoy the sunset on the island. Dinner and overnight in Detwah lagoon.

Day 05- Pristine Beach of Shoub: Early morning we will take a boat lookout for spinner dolphins, enjoy nature and try fishing. Dinner and overnight in Detwah lagoon

Day 06- Diksam Village: Experience the life of locals amongst the Dragon's blood tree forest and hear their stories about the island story. You can stop for taking photos at Shebahon. You may hike and mingle in the forest of Dragon's blood trees. Have dinner with locals and spend the night in one of their houses. 

Day 07-Degub Cave: Discover the Degub cave and relax at Omaq sandy beaches. After lunch, we will drive to Hayf and Zahak. Dinner and overnight in Delisha , Hadibo. 

Day 08- Leaving Socotra: After traditional breakfast, we will drop you off at the airport.

Note: Flights to Socotra depart from Abu Dhabi every Monday.
