Como is not far from Milan, and it is a lively and splendid town with an appealing historical center and a scenic location. Another important historical point is certainly Villa Olmo, the most impressive among the villas of Lake Como. It consists of a vast complex that in addition to a large park includes several buildings. You will visit the Museo Voltiano, the most visited museum in Como. The permanent exhibition is dedicated to the memory of Alessandro Volta and to the recognition of his scientific work.

On the ground floor are exposed ancient scientific instruments related to the experiments of physics performed by Alessandro Volta. Your guide will then take you to Via degli artigiani, a very important area in the historic center of Como, where over time the most important tradesmen of the trade have developed. Here you will find the shops of the ancient artisans, and you can admire their creations and do some shopping.
