Please note: the length of the trip and the time it leaves depend on how the guest interacts with the ranger and how many animals they see. The private game reserve is about 2.5 hours from Cape Town. It is in the malaria-free Ceres Karoo. Don’t hesitate to submit a transfer request to us.

Children's policy: please remember that children under four are not authorized on game drives. Private safaris may be booked ahead of time to enable children under the age of four to accompany their parents on a wildlife drive under tight supervision.

There will be limited Inverdoorn housing available for small family stays. Please confirm with your safari adviser for any family needs when booking. Subject to hotel availability, one kid between the ages of 4 and 12 may share with two adults at half the adult cost.

Inverdoorn is a small lodge. Thus, all youngsters must always be under their parents' direct supervision. You are personally and legally responsible for and must always supervise children as parents, guardians, or chaperones. Please do not leave youngsters unaccompanied in guest rooms or allow them to explore the hotel site unsupervised for safety concerns.

The Inverdoorn Ambassador Chalets are five-star accommodations. Each Ambassador Chalet offers an en-suite bathroom with a shower and corner bath for relaxing, bathrobes, and fresh towels every day, and is suitable for couples or two individuals sharing. Rooftop balconies provide panoramic views of the Ceres Karoo.

During the South African summer months, guests of the Ambassador Chalets enjoy access to the Ambassador private pool and the Ambassador dining boma area, where breakfasts and lunches are provided. Each apartment has a big veranda to rest and gaze at the broad, open Karoo countryside with majestic mountains in the distance.
