Visit the Tsitsernakaberd Monument, which is located on a hill. This monument is a memorial to the Armenian people who were killed by the Ottoman Empire in 1915. Over 1.5 million Armenians were massacred, and many fled to other countries, forming a massive Armenian diaspora that never forgot their motherland and helped it grow.
