Lion's Head Hike

Lion’s Head also known as the Lion’s Head Mountain, is part of Table Mountain National Park in Cape Town, South Africa. The mountain is narrow and has ledges to navigate, which will be assisted by the guide. Lion’s Head is 669 meters above sea level and has the best views of Cape Town both towards the sea and also The Table Top. Hikes on Lion’s Head take about 45 minutes up at a fast pace, or 1 hour at a reasonable speed. The views are far better than any hike in our opinion because the Lion's Head Trail goes around to both the Atlantic Seaboard and City Center. These two views of Cape Town are seen from on top of Lion’s Head, as well as having the best Table Mountain View in all of Cape Town. Guides will take the group on the most straightforward route up Lion's Head by the Spiral or Chain.
