You will taste wine at Jose Maria de Fonseca, one of the oldest table wine companies in Portugal that dates back to 1834. The tour will include a visit to its museum, and you will learn about the use of the ancient Roman tradition of fermenting wine in clay pots along with modern technology.

Jose Maria de Fonseca is a family business that has been passed on for 7 generations and sells its wines worldwide, best known for the brands Periquita and Lancers. As you continue the tour, you will discover the varied landscapes of Arrábida Natural Park, a protected nature reserve that features forested hills, picturesque beaches and towering cliffs, and get to the highest point of Serra da Arrábida mountain range.

From there, a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean will open up, and you will see the beaches of Arrábida with its fine white sands and crystal-clear sea water. You will observe Tróia peninsula and its beaches, as well as the fishing town of Setúbal. If time allows, you will visit the Azeitão Tile Factory that has been using the same production methods since the 15th century, making completely handmade tiles in faience technique.
