Please note: minimum age to participate is 14 years old. The price for solo traveler is R1100. The price for a group of 3-4 people would be R600 per person.

Forming the backbone of Hermanus is the Klienrivier mountains, a playground for hikers who don't mind being dwarfed by nature and a challenge. One of the best hikes that takes you from sea to summit in just a few hours. It is 16 km of sheer awesomeness. The hike is a jewel of Hermanus as it offers some incredible panoramic views of the bay, beaches, wine farms and rolling hills. Hikers are rewarded with an abundance of indigenous fauna and flora that includes the infamous fynbos and protea plants. Keep a look-out for klipspringer, baboon, mongoose, tortoises and if you are super lucky, a Cape Mountain Leopard.
