The Path of the Gods, known locally as Sentiero Degli Dei, is a fantastic path that runs along the top of the cliff between Bomberano and Nocelle. It runs roughly halfway to Mount Sant'Angelo a Tre Pizzi. It is often called the best hiking trail in the world. When you see the breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Amalfi Coast, it's easy to see why!

According to history, this trail once served as the only means of communication between some of the villages of the Amalfi Coast. The name "Path of the Gods" comes from its mythological roots in the story of Odysseus. The gods once rushed away from the sirens of Capri, drawing this path in the process at least, that's what the legend says!

This 6-hour walk along the Path of the Gods is a great way to see the best of the Amalfi Coast. You will go on a hike with a guide through stunning natural areas. Follow rocky paths that hug the cliffs as you walk high above the sea and look out over the mountains.

Meet your guide in Sorrento, get on the bus, and go to Nocelle, where the walking path starts. Make sure to wear hiking boots! The trail goes along the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast and has amazing views that go all the way to the sea over rocky gorges and quiet villages. You will hike between Bomerano and Nocelle with a guide and see the UNESCO-listed Amalfi Coast from the hills. You'll walk through old vineyards, terraces, farmhouses, and monasteries. At 650 meters above sea level, you'll feel like you're walking in a painting with constantly changing scenery.
