Experience walking on a Falljökull, an outlet glacier of Vatnajökull. This is a short easy hike to the largest glacier in Iceland. We will start with a short drive from our meeting point to Falljökull glacier, which is a neighbouring outlet glacier descending from the vast Vatnajökull ice cap. After a quick walk to the edge of the glacier you will learn to put on crampons and have a small safety briefing. With an ice axe in hand we will then embark for an hour on a guided excursion of the glacier. Your guide will be pointing out some of the fascinating features of the ice whilst on the hike

Please note: Age limit: 8 years +. Bring hiking shoes with ankle support, outdoor clothing according to weather, hat, gloves and sunglasses if sunny.
